& Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a membership application to Global Community Transformation (GCT), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms form a binding agreement between the member and GCT-International Network, a registered non-profit organisation in Norway (Organisation Number: 934 849 558), and apply from the date of membership approval.

Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals and organisations that demonstrate alignment with GCT's values and purpose.

• Individual applicants must be at least 18 years of age
• Institutional applicants must be legally registered in their country of operation
• Applications must be complete and accurate
• GCT reserves the right to accept or decline any application

Membership Tiers & Rights

GCT offers multiple membership tiers with defined levels of participation and engagement.

Rights and access are outlined in the Membership Tiers section and apply only to the approved member or institution. Membership is non-transferable.

Member Obligations

All members are expected to:

• Act in accordance with GCT's Code of Conduct
• Represent GCT accurately and responsibly
• Respect the values of cooperation, dignity, and inclusion
• Maintain up-to-date contact and institutional information
• Fulfil any responsibilities associated with their level of engagement
• Respect confidentiality where applicable

Membership Contributions

Where applicable, membership contributions:

• Are defined by membership tier
• Support GCT's operations and programmes
• Are non-refundable once membership is active (unless required by law)

Members will be informed in advance of any changes to contribution levels.

Duration & Renewal

Membership is granted on an annual basis and requires renewal.

• Members will be notified prior to expiry
• Membership lapses if renewal is not completed
• Lapsed members may reapply
• Members may withdraw at any time by written notice to the GCT Secretariat

Suspension & Termination

GCT may suspend or terminate membership where these Terms or organisational standards are not upheld. This may include:

• Breach of the Code of Conduct
• Misrepresentation of membership status
• Misuse of GCT name or identity
• Non-payment of contributions (where applicable)

Members will be notified and given an opportunity to respond. Decisions are made by the appropriate GCT governance body.

Use of GCT Name & Identity

Members may reference their membership status, provided that:

• Representation is accurate and appropriate
• No member speaks on behalf of GCT without authorisation
• Use of logos or branding requires approval

All use must cease upon termination or expiry of membership.

Intellectual Property

All GCT materials remain the property of Global Community Transformation.

Members may share content for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution. Any commercial use requires prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

GCT is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from membership or participation in its activities.

Any liability shall be limited to the value of membership contributions paid in the preceding twelve months, where applicable.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. GCT operates in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Disputes should first be addressed through GCT's internal processes. Where unresolved, they may be subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.

Amendments

GCT may update these Terms as required. Members will be notified of material changes. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
